Day 1 :

Museum of Tropical Queensland & Sightseeing

After your airport transfer and check-in, you'll head out to discover the Museum of Tropical Queensland in the afternoon. Your tickets will be waiting for you at your accommodation. The museum is only a short stroll from your motel, following the garden paths along the area called the Strand. This is designed to be a self-paced afternoon that will orientate you to the area you are staying in.

Day 2 :

Experience Townsville

Today, you'll head out on a comprehensive full-day scenic history tour of Townsville, highlights include Castle Hill, Jezzine Barracks, Kissing Point, Strand, the Botanical Gardens and many more. You'll be provided with a detailed overview of Townsville's past general history and the present history discovering what makes Townsville the place it is today. A thoroughly interesting day designed to not only educate you on the city but show its highlights.

Day 3 :

Explore Magnetic Island

Experience one of Australia's most pristine and spectacular islands during this full-day adventure. Only a 25-minute ferry from Townsville, Magnetic Island is 8 kilometres offshore and boasts 23 pristine bays and beaches. It was home to the Wulguruka Aboriginal people, for thousands of years and has one of the largest concentrations of wild Koala bears in Australia. This is a fantastic day discovering everything there is to know about this very beautiful island.

Day 4 :

Homeward Bound

Enjoy a hearty breakfast today before setting off. If you arrived later on day one and you have not used your tickets for the Tropical Museum, today is the perfect opportunity to visit before going to the airport. You can secure your luggage with reception and return in time to meet your airport transfer, 2.5 hours is around the average time spent at the museum.
